Kabeldetektiv, Testgerät für Netzwerk-Kupferkabel zur Aufspürung von Anschlussfehlern in konfektionierten Datenkabeln und kompletten Installationen, alle Koaxialverbindungen mit BNC/TNC-Steckern, USB-Kabel sowie sämtliche UTP/STP-Verkabelungen mit 6- oder 8-poligen Modularsteckverbindern lassen sich in Sekundenschnelle checken auf Unterbrechungen, PIN-Belegung und Kurzschlüsse, sowohl für die einzelnen Leiter wie auch für die Schirmung. Mit optischer (LED) und akustischer Fehleranzeige, die langwierige, nervenaufreibende und teure Suche Kabelfehlern wird mit dem Kabeldetektiv auf ein Minimum reduziert, bereits über längere Strecken verlegte Kabel bis zu 200m können von nur einer Person getestet werden, in praktischer Gürteltasche, umfassende Bedienungsanleitung, für 9-Volt-E-Block-Batterie
