The Kay SL offers all the advantages of the BIRKENSTOCK classics Tokyo + Boston combined in one model. The upper instep strap can be folded back if necessary and then provides additional support as a heel strap. The super outsole is slip-resistant, rolls ideally and is also oil and grease resistant. Its EVA midsole cushions every step. This high degree of flexibility and surefootedness is particularly in demand in the medical sector. All super outsole models are tested according to the specifications of EN ISO 20347:2012 with regard to slip resistance.

Der Kay SL bietet alle Vorteile der BIRKENSTOCK Klassiker Tokio + Boston kombiniert in einem Modell. Der obere Ristriemen kann bei Bedarf nach hinten umgeklappt werden und sorgt dann als Fersenriemen für zusätzlichen Halt. Die Superlaufsohle ist rutschhemmend, rollt ideal ab und ist zudem öl- und fettbeständig. Ihre Zwischensohle aus EVA dämpft jeden Schritt. Vor allen im medizinischen Bereich ist dieses hohe Maß an Flexibilität und Trittsicherheit gefragt. Alle Superlaufsohlen-Modelle werden nach den Vorgaben der EN ISO 20347:2012 hinsichtlich der Rutschhemmung getestet.
