With the Wipe-Clip you optimize the cleaning of the fiber ends to be spliced before splicing. Precise cleaning with the Wipe-Clip frees the fibers from contamination and gel or coating residues.
Since the fibers to be cleaned are in the clip and not in the cloth between the fingers, as is usually the case, the risk of breakage of the sensitive fiber ends is reduced. The ergonomic design and the resulting firm hold of the cleaning cloths in the clip ensure precise cleaning and faster working. The cleaning cloths stay clean longer because they only pick up the dirt from the fibers and have no contact with the work surface or hands. The supplied adapter and the matching pump bottle allow quick and easy moistening of the cleaning media. Here, the process can be done one-handed. The clip is pressed onto the bottle attachment and the cleaning fluid is optimally distributed. There is no contact of the skin with the cleaning liquid. The intelligent clip system allows a quick change of cloths. The Wipe-Clip is made of polypropylene, which is particularly resistant to chemicals and thus offers a long service life. The built-in elastic pads can be easily replaced or cleaned. Individual parts such as clips, pads and wipes can be ordered separately.
