All locking mechanisms are easily and safely operated by means of large wing screws, even when wearing gloves. The tubes are clamped using a large-area pressure mechanism which prevents deformation of the individual telescopic tubes. The steel tubes are galvanised or orange painted. The stand can be tied down by means of a captive tensioning strap when folded. A centring piece holds the legs securely together. The tripod can be additionally secured with the bracing set included in the scope of delivery to further increase stability.

Stainless steel does not corrode. Normal, galvanized telescopic tubes cannot be pulled out easily after a short time if they are not cleaned properly.
