Red-painted head with ground cutting edge on one side and a narrow pike on the other, an oval tubular steel handle inserted into the head and a non-slip rubber hand guard.

The hatchet no longer complies with the current DIN 14924 since it does not have the integrated bollard wrench. Besides that, the hatchet complies with every other required quality and stability criteria.
