UHU high temperature silicone is a black, heat resistant silicone suitable for sealing gaps, cracks and joints. It can permanently withstand temperatures of up to 180 °C without damage. Short-term temperatures of up to 300 °C are also possible. It is also resistant to moisture, cleaning agents and chemicals as well as ozone and UV radiation. It is characterised by its very good adhesive strength without primer. It is permanently elastic and hardens even when exposed to moisture. Silicone is mainly used in the automotive industry. In addition, it can also be used for bonding or sealing in electronics and mechanical engineering. After use and before curing, it can be easily removed from work clothing and equipment with water.
