Galvanically bonded tools are suitable for machining a wide range of materials, e.g. particularly hard or abrasive materials. The working temperatures are so low that no chemical wear occurs on steel materials. Universally applicable in toolmaking on the smallest profiles and in precision mechanics. Suitable for dry and wet grinding. File with little pressure, especially on edges. Attached diamond files can be cleaned in petroleum or antistatic plastic cleaner with a file brush. Alternatively, ultrasonic cleaning can be used. Often simple tapping out is sufficient.
