- In contrast to the conventional fine dial indicators with precision gear measuring movements, the measuring movements of these new fine dial indicators are based on a design principle, which resembles those of precision pointers
- The measuring pin travel is transferred to a pointer via a lever enlarged with the precision dial indicators
- In contrast to the precision pointers, however, these precision dial indicators are supplied with a measuring span of 1 mm
- The lever transmission makes it possible to keep the measured value reversal span with max. 1.5 µm to keep very low
