Threadlocker medium strength Loctite 243

- For securing and sealing threaded connections that must be disassembled with hand tools
- Hardens in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces
- Prevents self-loosening and leaks due to shock and vibration
- Thixotropic behavior reduces migration of the liquid product after application to the component
- Robust curing performance
- Can be used on active metals (eg.E.g. brass, copper) and passive materials (e.g. stainless steel)
- High temperature and oil resistance
- Tolerates minor contamination of surfaces by various oils such as cutting, lubricating, anti-corrosion and protective oils
- Approved to NSF Category P1 for use as a sealant in food processing in areas where contact with food is not possible
- Max. Thread size M36
- Breakaway torque, screws M10: 26 Nm
- Hand strength on steel in 10 minutes
- Hand strength on brass in 5 minutes
