Symbol durchgestrichene Mülltonne Symbol durchgestrichene Mülltonne

The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin indicates that this electrical or electronic device must not be disposed of in household waste at the end of its service life, but must be taken by the end user to a separate collection system.

Free collection points for waste electrical equipment as well as additional drop-off points for the reuse of devices may be available in your area. You can obtain the addresses from your local city or municipal administration.

As a distributor of electrical and electronic equipment, we are obliged to take back old electrical and electronic devices free of charge.

Up to three old devices per device type can be returned, provided that none of their external dimensions exceeds 25 cm. When purchasing a new electrical or electronic device, an old device of the same type that essentially performs the same function as the new device will be taken back.

You may also return waste electrical equipment free of charge by mail, provided that any applicable dangerous goods regulations are observed. We will provide you with a free return shipping label upon request (info@doenges-online.de or Tel. 02196 / 9756-0).

Waste electrical equipment can be returned to the following address:

Dönges GmbH & Co. KG
Dönges-Straße 1
42929 Wermelskirchen

If the old electrical or electronic device contains personal data, you are responsible for deleting it before returning the device.

If possible without destroying the old electrical or electronic device, please remove old batteries or rechargeable batteries as well as old lamps before returning it for disposal, and take these to a separate collection system.

Further information on the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act can be found at www.elektrogesetz.de.

Disposal of Used Batteries / Information on the Battery Act

Symbol durchgestrichene Mülltonne Batterie

The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin indicates that batteries must not be disposed of in household waste at the end of their service life, but must be taken by the end user to a separate collection system.

Below this symbol, additional symbols may appear indicating the following substance contents:

  • Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004% lead by mass
  • Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002% cadmium by mass
  • Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005% mercury by mass

Substances, for example of chemical nature, can be harmful to the environment and health if not stored or disposed of properly. At the same time, they may contain recyclable raw materials.

You can return used batteries free of charge to us or to the designated collection points (e.g. public collection points in your municipality or retail outlets).

You may also return batteries free of charge by mail, provided that any applicable dangerous goods regulations are observed. We will provide you with a free return shipping label upon request (info@doenges-online.de or Tel. 02196 / 9756-0).

Please send used batteries to the following address:

Dönges GmbH & Co. KG
Dönges-Straße 1
42929 Wermelskirchen

The return is limited to the types of used batteries that we offer or have offered as new batteries in our product range, as well as to the quantities typically disposed of by end users.
