For the Long Johns 200 with fly is used Ullfrotté Original 200 g / m², the
thinnest Ullfrotté version. The terry-knitted material made of fine merino wool, a polyamide content - and of course a lot of air - is particularly wear-resistant. The airy terry loops in combination with the crimped structure of the wool fibers form a tricot knit that binds a lot of air, resulting in the very good insulating properties. Already in
the early 1970s, the first Ullfrotté clothing layer that can be worn directly on the skin was started to be developed. The material can be worn over the thinner Woolpower LITE series as well as under the thicker Ullfrotté Original 400 and 600 products. In doing so, the layers can be combined according to the activity and temperatures. To make the
most of the positive properties of merino wool, Woolpower underwear should be worn directly against the skin. Wool is the functional material from nature. Until now, no one has managed to artificially produce a fiber that has such fantastic properties as wool. Wool is self-cleaning to a certain extent and does not smell unpleasant even when the
body sweats. Since wool fibers can absorb up to 30 percent of its own weight in moisture without feeling damp. Absorption heat is developed as the moisture is absorbed, so our Woolpower underwear is still warm even when damp. Ullfrotté Original can be machine washed at 60 ° C.

Woolpower Ullfrotté Original is circular knitted on special
machines and therefore comes with very few seams. This has the advantage that the garments worn directly on the body do not chafe, making them particularly comfortable and wear-resistant. The cuffs are elastic and knitted into the material. All Woolpower products are manufactured - from the yarn to the finished sewn garment - in Östersund/Northern
Sweden. Each garment is sewn by the same seamstress or seamstress. Everyone checks their garment and finally completes it with a name label, so you always know who sewed their garment.
