Residual current circuit breakers (RCCBs) provide personal and property protection as well as protection against electrically ignited fires in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-410 and DIN VDE 0100-530. They ensure protection of single-phase circuits against overload and short-circuit currents, protection for sinusoidal AC currents and pulsating
currents with a smooth DC residual current component of up to 6 mA to earth. As well as fault protection (protection in case of indirect contact), additional protection (with In 30 mA) and fire protection (with In 300 mA). They meet the product standards IEC/EN 61009-1 (VDE 0664-20), IEC/EN 61009-2-1 (VDE 0664-21).
