The head of the innovative "Alaska" consists of five horizontal and six vertical blades that can rotate around the centre axis for better adaptation to the terrain. The head can be locked at a 45° angle, which optimises the impact on the ground and uses the applied energy more efficiently. The horizontal blades "smother" the fire, the vertically
mounted blades can additionally be used for scraping, e.g. to expose pockets of embers.

The upper part of the telescopic handle is made of sturdy and light aluminium, the lower part of a flexible special plastic. The flexible part protects the user from the recoil when hitting the ground and in addition, the effectiveness can be significantly
increased when lunging due to the "whip effect".

The Alaska can be easily carried around with the practical carrying strap.
