OSRAM quality starters ignite safely, quickly and gently for the lamp at all times.
Each one is subject to strict processing and testing regulations.
All starters have a self-extinguishing insulating Makrolon housing and meet the requirements of protection class II.
They are equipped with a special interference suppression capacitor
(film-wound capacitor), are VDE-tested and have the test marks OSC_ENEC10sign, OSC_VDEsign and OSC_CEsign.
For proper ignition, the starter must also be replaced each time the lamp is changed.
Switching life: from 10,000 or more switching operations to 60,000 or more switching operations in inductive operation.
20% longer lamp life for
fluorescent lamps.
Switch-off device protects the choke coil and the starter itself.
Temperature range for safe switch-off: -20 °C ... +80 °C
