To meet the new Construction Products Regulation, blind rivet dimensions were selected to meet the requirements and test specifications of the European Technical Approval.
With a European Technical Approval (ETA) for a construction product the proof for the usability of the same according to the Construction Products Directive is provided. The CE mark confirms that all evidence has been provided and that all specified tests and requirements have been met. The approval is mainly required when blind rivets are used in
the construction of public buildings.
