Stick electrode THERMANIT XW

- Stainless, scale resistant up to 850 °C (at temperatures above 500 °C no sufficient resistance to sulfurous combustion gases)
- Joints and claddings on heat resistant Cr steels/cast steels and heat resistant austenitic steels/cast steels
- Well suited for austenite-ferrite joints (max. application
temperature 300 °C). Joints of un/low alloyed or Cr steels/cast steels with austenites
- Not suitable for buffer layers when welding claddings resp. clad plates
- High-strength, unalloyed and alloyed structural, quenched and tempered and armored steels with and among each other, unalloyed as well as alloyed boiler or structural steels with
high-alloyed Cr and Cr-Ni steels
- Heat-resistant steels up to 850 °C, austenitic manganese hard steels with each other and with other steels, cold-tough sheet and tube steels in combination with cold-tough austenitic materials
- TÜV suitability-tested materials, as well as base materials included therewith with ferritic steels to
fine-grained structural steel
