The bi-alfa cobalt M42 bimetal band saw blade is a specially developed band saw blade for demanding cutting work. It is characterized by a highly flexible backing band and extremely robust tooth tips made of HSS M42, which have a hardness of 67-69 HRC. This band saw blade is ideal for cutting high-alloy and difficult-to-machine steels up to a
strength of 1400 N/mmÂ². The normal toothing (N) makes it particularly suitable for small and medium cross-sections up to 70 mm, such as pipes and profiles.
